Bedford

Robert F. Beliveau, 92, of Bedford, passed away September 11, 2025 at Bowman Place surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Manchester, NH on February 15, 1933, he was the son of the late Frank Beliveau and Bernice (Mayo). He attended Manchester West High School before joining the US Army in 1950, proudly serving with the 82nd Airborne during the Korean War. He later served in the NH Army National Guard, where he earned the nickname “Sarge.” Robert often spoke fondly of his military experiences.

He met the love of his life, Lucille (Dionne), on a blind date in Manchester, NH at the Carousel Ballroom in1953. He quit his job in Connecticut to pursue future dates with her, and they were married on June 18, 1955.

Robert worked for Lew A. Cummings as a Pressman for 40 years, before retiring in 1995. In his spare time, Robert loved going on rides with his wife around NH, traveling domestically and internationally, working on his “popsicle” stick houses, and spending many enjoyable and cherished hours with his family.

A devoted Roman Catholic, he was an active communicant of St. Anthony Parish.

He will most fondly be remembered for his story telling and kitchen table humor.

He is survived by his loving children: Sandra Dobson of Manchester; David Beliveau and his wife Barbara of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota; Dennis Beliveau and his wife Caitlin Corbett of Sanbornton; and Dean Beliveau and his wife Kathleen of Goffstown; his nine granddaughters, Cassandra, Colleen, Char, Chantal, Leah, Renee, Michelle, Nicole and Olivia, many great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and his sister Norma.

Robert was predeceased on June 5, 2022 by his loving wife of 67 years, Lucille, his sisters Marlene and Connie and a granddaughter, Zoe.
