Robert A. Berendsen
July 3, 1941 — October 7, 2005
Born in Rockville Centre, NY on July 3, 1941 he was the son of Raymond C. and Eleanor L. (Quist) Berendsen.
Mr. Berendsen was a graduate of the Stevens Institute of Technologies in Hoboken, NJ receiving his ME in 1965 and eventually his MS in electrical engineering in 1966.
He was a self-employed electrical engineer and proprietor of Atlantic Development Labs for many years.
Mr. Berendsen was a member of the Chi Psi Fraternity.
Family members include his sister; Barbara S. Capron of Cupertino CA; a nephew Brian C. Holm of Heidelberg, Germany; longtime fraternity brother, Robert Reitchner of Greenville, NY.
