Robert P. Botelho

November 30, 1934 — October 27, 2003

Robert P. Botelho, 68, of Goffstown, died October 27, 2003, at his residence after a sudden illness.

He was born in Somerville, Ma, November 30, 1934, and was the son of Joseph D. and Adeline (Ribero) Botelho.

He was a 20 year veteran of the US Marine Corps having served from 1953 to 1973. During that time he served in many capacities and locations including Japan and Viet Nam. He was the recipient of numerous awards and citations and retired as a 1st Sergeant.He loved the Marine Corps and it remained his pride and joy throughout his life.

In addition to serving in the Marine Corps he worked 15 years for the NH State Liquor Commission.

Mr. Botelho was a life member of the American Legion Jutras Post, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret C. (Glock) Botelho in 1985, and his second wife, Louise I. Allard in 2000.

Family members include four children, Robert P. Botelho Jr., Debra Ann Botelho, both of Manchester, David J. Botelho of Florida, and Robin Hapler of Wisconsin; 8 grandchildren; two sisters, Helen McKenna of Arlington, MA, and Rosemarie Oliveria of Tewksbury, MA; a brother, Joseph Botelho of Englewood, FL; several nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday October 31, 2003 in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
