Robert Thomas Cote

February 5, 1947 — July 15, 2004

Robert (Bob) Thomas Cote, 57, of 54 Varney St. Manchester, died peacefully in the arms of his wife July 15, 2004.

He was born in Manchester, NH on February 5, 1947, the son of Thomas E. and Lorraine A. (Hebert) Cote. He was educated in the local school system and attended Manchester West High School.

He served four years in the US Navy.

Mr. Cote was employed as a Journeyman Electrician and Manager with Interstate Electrical Services, Inc for the past 16 years.

He was a member of Brookside Congregational Church. He was also a member of American Legion Henry J. Sweeney Post #2.

Robert and his wife recently renewed their wedding vows on their 35th anniversary. He had an insatiable sense of humor and a contagious giggle that was the trademark of the practical joker which lived within him. Robert's pride was his family and lived each day in pursuit of their happiness. His two favorite pastimes were bragging about his children and grandchildren and riding his motorcycle with his lifetime love, Donna.

Members of his family include his wife of 36 years, Donna (Hayes) Cote of Manchester; One son and daughter-in-law Thomas R. and Anna-Brown Cote of Big Rock, TN; One daughter and son-in-law William P. and Stacie A. Chisholm of Manchester; 3 grandchildren Holliann, Alexander, and Vincent Cote all of Big Rock, TN; One sister Patricia Powanda of Derry; Robert was also the uncle and Godfather of Tara L. (Gaudette) Dwire of Manchester; nephews and nieces living throughout the country.

The funeral service was held Monday July 19, 2004 in Brookside Congregational Church. Military honors were accorded immediately following the service. Burial was at the convenience of the family.
