Robert C. Coughlin

Robert C.Coughlin, 56, of Manchester, NH, died December 23, 2004, at Hackett Hill Rehabilitation Center after fighting a courageous battle with bone cancer.

Born in Manchester, NH on June 26, 1948, he was the son of the late Denis and Virginia (Salesky) Coughlin.

He graduated from Manchester Memorial High School in 1966, and attended Keene State College. He spent his entire career in the field of banking, specifically in the field of commercial lending. Until his retirement this past June, he was employed by Central Bank in Somerville, Massachusetts as Vice President of Commercial Lending. Mr. Coughlin resided in Cape Neddick, Maine for many years before moving back to Manchester.

He will be remembered for his love of family, his kindness, generosity, and his strong desire to help people fulfill their dreams.

Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Cheryl Coughlin of Manchester, his grandson Alexander P. Coughlin; a daughter Jennifer C. Coughlin of York, Maine, a sister Jody Coughlin of Manchester; and his wife of many years Roswitha Coughlin of Cape, Neddick, ME, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Christian memorial service was held in the funeral home chapel on Monday December 27, 2004. Urn burial was private.
