Robert J. Dube, 86, of Hooksett, died January 6, 2025 at his home after a long period of declining health.
He was born in Manchester on July 26, 1938 to Hector and Adele (Martineau) Dube. He was a lifelong resident of Hooksett. He attended New England College and the University of New Hampshire.
Robert worked at Summit Packaging in Manchester for over 20 years and retired as quality control supervisor.
He was the owner of Dube’s Pond, a popular outdoor area of Hooksett. He was also a member of Southern New Hampshire Snow Slickers and was a life member of the National Rifle Association.
He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Pauline Bergeron.
Robert is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carolyn (Legassie) Dube; three children, Mark H. Dube and his wife, Tamy, Michael R. Dube and Dawn M. Dube; three grandchildren, Adam Dube, Brandon Dube and Ashley Dube; four great grandchildren; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Calling hours are on Tuesday (1/14) from 10 a.m. to noon, followed immediately at noon by a funeral ceremony, all at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. Burial will be at a later date.
