Over the years, they lived in Maine and Massachusetts before settling on Manchester’s West Side, where they raised their four boys: Mark, Guy, Gary, and Eric. Bob was an active parishioner at the Parish of the Transfiguration (St. Jean-Baptiste), where he served on the parish council for many years.

Bob served for 36 years with the United States Army, on active duty, as a reservist, and as a civil servant. Bob worked his way through all the enlisted ranks.
