He was born on October 20, 1929, the son of George and Hattie (Collins) Duhaime, and was a resident of Manchester for most of his life.
Robert was educated in the local school system and was a veteran of the US Air Force, having served in WWII. He was employed by the US Postal Service during his working career, having sorted mail on trains coming to and from the city, in the 1950's.
He was a great fisherman and gardener, and loved to read. Books were his passion.
Family members include his brother Denis, and wife Beverly, of Manchester; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by both of his parents; one brother; and four sisters.
