Robert E. Dumas, 89, of Kingston, died November 15, 2023 at his home after a long period of declining health.
He was born in Manchester on November 22, 1933 to Eldridge and Doris (Whittemore) Dumas. He lived in Manchester for most of his life and had served in the National Guard.
Robert worked in the food industry, including many years with Sexton Foods in Massachusetts. He enjoyed playing poker.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Lorraine (Alexander) Dumas in 2005 and a son-in-law, David Bonnett in 2018.
Robert is survived by his wife, Yvette (Fortier)(Paquin) Dumas of Kingston; two daughters, Deborah Vosler of Manchester and Laurie Bonnett of Epsom; three grandchildren, Brian Bonnett and his spouse, Lisa, of Raymond, Eric Bonnett and his spouse, Simon Wright, of Wilton and Kevin Bonnett and his spouse, Kelsey, of Plymouth, MA; three great grandchildren, RaeLynn, Ellie and Madelyn; his wife’s children, Michael and Glenda Paquin and David Paquin and her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
There are no services planned. Private interment at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum in Manchester will be at the convenience of the family.
