Robert S. Feeman "Pop Pop", 93, of Manchester, died October 27, 2017 at CMC, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Lebanon, PA on November 16, 1923, the son of Titus and Anna (Shucker) Feeman. He was educated in PA, and was a resident of Manchester, living on Pine Island Pond, since the 1940's. Robert served in the U.S. Army during WWII; 32nd Infantry, Red Arrow Division. He worked for many years as a shoe worker in the Manchester Mills before retiring in 1986.
Robert had wonderful sense of humor. He was an avid golfer of Intervale Country Club, and he also enjoyed fishing, playing cribbage, and bowling. Robert was a proud member of the American Legion Post 2, Henry J. Sweeney Post. Above all, he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother.
Robert was predeceased by his wife, Jeanne (Ruel) Feeman, and his daughter, Linda Kilgren in 1989.
Family includes one granddaughter, Karen Carroll and husband Tommy of Manchester; one great granddaughter, Aliya of Manchester; three siblings, Jackie Showers and husband Kenneth, Terri Feeman and wife Julie, and David Feeman and wife Rose all of PA; and several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his two sisters, Jeannette and "Sis"; and one brother, Donald.
Committal Prayers with Military Honors took place on Friday, November 3, 2017 in the mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
