Robert G. France

Robert France, 98, of Goffstown, NH, passed away on May 11, 2026 in Manchester, New Hampshire.

He was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 6, 1928 to parents Thomas G. France and Mabel (Jones) France. Bob attended high school in Western Springs, Illinois, and went to college at William Jewel College in Liberty, Missouri. He received a Master of Divinity, was ordained, and married Gloria Howard of Hinsdale, Illinois in 1956. They both received their MA in Christian Education from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois

Bob served as the pastor of Chepachet Union Church in Rhode Island. He moved to Aurora, Illinois where he served as the pastor of Park Place Baptist Church which was then located downtown. When the church building burned in 1958, he led the congregation in locating and building a new site in Montgomery, Illinois, which is the present location of New Life Community Church. He then worked at Aurora National Bank for several years before becoming a pastoral elder at Hope Fellowship and continuing his ministry. He and Gloria moved to New Hampshire in 1995 where he joined New Testament Christian Fellowship in Manchester. As a pastoral elder in New Hampshire, Bob never retired from sharing Jesus with everyone he met. He had a heart for the hurting and knew and shared the joy and healing that was found in Jesus Christ.

He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen (France) Beliveau, his son-in-law Dean Beliveau and his grand- daughter, Olivia Beliveau. He cherished his honorary son and daughter, Joe and Sue Fuentes, as well as his honorary grandchildren - Michael Fuentes and his wife, Anna, and their children, Hailey, Jacob & Isaac; Katie (Fuentes) Parotto and her husband, Brian, and their children, Garrett and Grace; and William Fuentes, and his wife, Kelsey, and their children, Emma, Madison, Sloan, and Harrison. 

He is predeceased by his wife, Gloria (Howard) France and his parents, Thomas G. France and Mabel (Jones) France.

SERVICES: A Calling Hour will be held from 9:00am- 10:00am with a Service to follow at 10:00am at the New Testament Christian Fellowship, 522 Pine St. Manchester, NH 03104. Burial to follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd, Manchester, NH 03102.
