He was born in Manchester, June 8, 1946 to Herve and Jeanne (Larochelle) Fredette. He graduated from Central High School and attended St. Francis College in Biddeford, ME.
He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Mr. Fredette served in the US Army.
He worked for the United States Postal Service for many years prior to his retirement.
He was an avid sports fan and loved the beach. He also enjoyed spending time with family, especially his two nephews.
Family members include his sister, Michele F. McDowell of Manchester; and two nephews, Patrick J. McDowell and Brendan M. McDowell, both of Manchester.
He was predeceased by a sister, Priscilla Fredette.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, February 24, 2012 at St. Catherine Church, Webster St., Manchester. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery where committal prayers took place in the mausoleum chapel.
