Robert R. Gadsby

He was born in Santa Barbara, CA on June 27, 1951, the son of Hewson Gadsby and Lois (Coverwell) Gadsby. He was educated in the Santa Barbara school system and graduated from Dos Pueblos High School.

During the Vietnam War era, he served in the US Army.

Prior to his illness, he had worked as an Arborist with Cambridge Landscape in Cambridge, MA. Previously, he had been employed by Greeno Tree in Concord, MA.

Bob loved to fish, hunt, surf, and garden. He also loved to read and will be remembered for his love of the outdoors and dedication to his family.

Family members include his wife of 30 years, Leslie Ann (McCallion) Gadsby of Manchester; his children, David Gadsby and companion Ambrosia Wolf of Manchester, Lisa Gadsby of Encinitas, CA, Kristine Gadsby and companion Chris Arbor of Bedford, NH, Nora Gadsby of North Providence, RI, and Ross Gadsby of Manchester; two grandchildren, Michael Wolf Gadsby and Eli Arbor; his parents of California; his siblings, Jim Gadsby, Mattie Gadsby, and Bill Gadsby, all of CA; many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

The funeral service was held on Friday, February 25, 2011 in the chapel of the NH State Veterans' Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen.
