Robert R. Gingras

Robert R. Gingras, 68, of Bow rode his Corvette to the heavens with angels by his side, July 21, 2018 at the Concord Hospice house surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Manchester on August 28, 1949, he was the son of Raymond and Marie (Labrie) Gingras. He was educated in the local school system and attended Manchester Central High School. He served in the US Army Reserves prior to his honorable discharge in 1974.
Most of his working life was spent in the sheet metal trade, including years as an owner of B&G Sheet Metal. Upon his retirement from the industry, Bob drove a bus for Second Start and was admired by the many students he transported on a daily basis.
Robert enjoyed traveling with his wife and camping in his RV. He also enjoyed Corvettes, New England sports and spending time outdoors. Above all else, he will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who cherished time spent with family.
Robert's family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at the Concord Regional Hospice House for the tremendous care they provided during his stay.
Family members include his wife of 47 years, Jeannine (Bernier) Gingras of Bow; his children, Derrick Gingras and wife, Brandi, of Copley, OH; Daniel Gingras and wife, Susannah, of Allenstown; Doreen Robinson and husband, Jamie, of Boscawen. His grandchildren, Katherine, Dakoda, Daniel Jr, Keegan, Haley, Lauren, Alexis, Leizel and Samantha; His siblings, Claire Lamy, Maurice Gingras, Rachel Ruel, Marguerite Seymour; many nephews, nieces and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Christ the King Church, Concord. Burial with military honors followed in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
