Robert “Bob” Giordano, 86, of Bedford New Hampshire, passed away on February 5, 2025, in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Bob was born on March 12, 1938, in Natick, MA, to Jack and Catherine Giordano. He graduated from Boston College in 1959, then went to the University of New Hampshire and earned his master’s degree.
Bob served in the U.S Army as a 1st Lieutenant from 1959 to 1961.
He moved to Manchester to work as the controller and later the President and CEO of the Manchester Gas Company, which became EnergyNorth, Inc. Bob worked at EnergyNorth until he retired in 2000. Throughout his career Bob served on various industry association boards and several New Hampshire not for profits boards. He was passionate about giving back to his community.
Bob and his wife Priscilla have spent the last 25 winters in sunny Port Charlotte, Florida, where he enjoyed golfing and the warm weather.
Bob loved spending time with his family, and is survived by his loving wife Priscilla (Adams) Giordano of Bedford, NH; his 8 children, Mary Giordano of Manchester, NH, Greg Giordano of Hooksett, NH, Susan LeClair and spouse Thomas of Hooksett, NH, Richard Giordano and spouse Dawn Marie of Nashua, NH, Donald Spiliotis and spouse Rebecca Folkerth of High Falls, NY, Ann Conrad and spouse William of Bedford, NH, James Spiliotis and spouse Shannon of Newburyport, MA, and Michael Giordano and spouse Jodie of Bedford, MA; his grandchildren Cassandra, Caroline, Emily, Stephanie, Gabrielle, Raelene, Bailey, Eric, Peter, Leo, Justin, Paige, Quinn and Reece; as well as his 8 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Jack and Catherine Giordano and his sister Concetta (Giordano) Clark.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 19th at 10:00am at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meeting House Road, Bedford, NH 03110 with a burial to follow at New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH 03303 at 12:00pm.
