Robert T. Heyer

April 11, 1949 — December 3, 2024

Robert T. Heyer (Bob), 75 years young, left this world on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. With his wife by his side.

Born April 11, 1949, to Arthur J. and Mildred (Mitzie) Heyer, Bob was raised in Oak Park, IL, along with his siblings, John, Bill and Susan, a place in time he always held near and dear to his heart. Bob married his loving wife JoAnn Heyer in 1987 and spent an amazing 37 years together. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Bradley University, Peoria, IL. Having a career in sales and advertising, he created his own business, Pure Waters of New England, a successful water purification system company.

A grateful and blessed lung transplant recipient in March 2016, he and JoAnn knew each and every breath was a gift. One that was never taken for granted.

Photography was his passion, taking him and his wife JoAnn on many adventures to many destinations, capturing memories with each other and photographically. Always making new friends along the way. He touched many with his photography, but he was most proud to have served 10 years as the Town Photographer where he lived in beautiful Hollis, NH. It brought so many people so much joy seeing through his lens. Bob would sell his work and always donated the proceeds to Brigham and Woman’s Hospital in Boston.

Per Bob’s request, there will be no service, choosing instead to have a “Celebration of Life”, a family and friends event, taking place at Fulchino Vineyards, Hollis NH, January 18, 2025, 4pm – 8pm, where JoAnn can, once again, share his most cherished photographs and stories with those he loved.

A donation in Bob’s name to The Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH, a little piece of heaven on earth, would be most appreciative. Please visit their website.
