Robert L. Houley

He was born in Berlin, NH on July 26, 1928, the son of Joseph and Marie Ann (Derry) Houley. He graduated from Berlin High School in 1948 and earned an accounting degree from NH College of Accounting & Commerce in 1957.

Prior to his honorable discharge in 1956, he served five years in the US Army.

Robert had a very successful career working as an accountant for Reeds Ferry Lumber Co, Brown Co in Berlin, and the NH division of the Boston & Maine Railroad.

He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Paulette M. (Maheux) Houley in 2001.

He is survived by his daughter Ann Houley-Gosselin and her husband Dr. Gary Gosselin of Manchester.

The funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 in the chapel at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, Manchester. Burial was in St. Anne Cemetery, Berlin.
