Robert I. Latulippe, 89, of Manchester died April 15, 2018, at CMC.
Born in Bedford on September 1, 1928, he was the son of Israel and Mary (Delisle) Latulippe. He was educated in Manchester and was a lifelong resident of the city. Robert served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Staff Sergeant in 1955. He worked for 30 years as a dental assistant at VA Hospital before retiring in 1985.
Robert was a member of American Legion Post 54 for 63 years. He enjoyed square dancing with his wife Frances, bowling, bird watching and spending time at the beach. Robert was a very good person who was liked by all. He was also very meticulous and proud. Above all, he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
Family includes his wife of 68 years, Frances T. (Therrien) Latulippe; one daughter, Michele Spaziano and husband Dennis; three grandchildren, Sheila Atwater, Andrew Johnson, and Eli Johnson; two great grandchildren; one sister, Eva Barstow; and three brothers, Raymond, Roland, and Leo Latulippe. He was predeceased by his daughter, Denise Johnson, and two brothers, Armand and Albert Latulippe.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Sacred Heart Church, 265 S. Main St., Manchester. Committal prayers with military honors followed in the chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Manchester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
