Robert J. Grimmer, 84, of Goffstown, died February 26, 2017 at CMC Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Stratford, CT on May 27, 1932 the son of August and Gertrude (Sheehy) Grimmer. After high school, Robert served in the U.S. Army. He worked for Skiorsky Aircraft for over 20 years, retiring in 1976.
Robert was a devoted husband who loved his wife and family with all of his heart. He loved New Hampshire and the White Mountains, which lead him to follow his dream to move to the Granite State and raise a family. Above all, he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle.
Family includes his beloved wife of 65 years, Lissalotta (Weber) Grimmer of Goffstown; one daughter, Heidi Goudas and husband Brian of Manchester; two grandsons, Shane and Colin Goudas of Manchester; and several nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
