Robert L. Lavertu

He was born in Manchester, July 28, 1935 to Leo and Jeannette (Bilodeau) Lavertu. He had been a resident of Bedford for many years and was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Seton Church.

Mr. Lavertu served in the US Air Force.

He retired from Silver Brothers where he had worked for many years.

He was predeceased by his wife, Irene (Desrosiers) Lavertu who died in 2000.

Family members include three grandchildren, Carol Vigneau of Deerfield, Michael B. Currier of Boynton Beach, FL, and Joyce M. Brigham of Manchester; a sister, Doris Gitaski of Florida; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
