Robert O. "Bob" Lescatre, 75, of Manchester died July 5, 2004 at Catholic Medical Center after a long illness.
Born in Manchester on October 7, 1928, he was the son of Henri and Clara (Poirier) Lescatre. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
During the Korean War he served in the US Army and was awarded the Purple Heart. He later worked as a self employed carpenter for many years.
He was predeceased by a son, Gerald L. Lescatre in 2003.
The family includes his wife of 51 years, Clarisse (Beaulieu) Lescatre of Manchester; four children, Robert J. Lescatre, Pauline T. Fiest, Paul D. Lescatre and David M. Lescatre all of Manchester; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday July 8, 2004 in Sacred Heart Church, 223 So. Main St., Manchester. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
