Born in Manchester on July 6, 1936, he was the son of Auguste and Rose (Fontaine) L'Heureux. He attended St. Marie School and later served in the US Air Force.
Prior to retirement, he had worked for Associated Grocers of New England. In his later years, he enjoyed visiting Lake Massabesic and his many friends at Angelo's Restaurant and the Aloha.
Family members include his sons, Stephen L'Heureux and his wife Lisa of Hooksett, David L'Heureux of Manchester; one daughter, Jennifer Desaulniers of Bedford; 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Roland G. L'Heureux in 1982 and his sister Yvette Blandina earlier this month.
A service was held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 in the chapel at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, Manchester. Urn burial will be in the NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Monastery of the Precious Blood, 700 Bridge St, Manchester, NH 03104.
