Robert D. Lucas

He was born in Lawrence, MA on June 25, 1949 to Leonard and Claire (Hart) Lucas. He grew up and lived in the Lawrence area before moving to Candia many years ago. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

He served in the U.S. Army in the late 1960's for several years.

Robert worked at W.K. Hilquist, Inc. in Hudson, NH for many years. He enjoyed working in his yard and listening to Blues music. He will be remembered as a kind and caring person and will be greatly missed.

The family includes his wife of 27 years, Cathy (Lewis) Lucas of Candia, NH; a step daughter, Jen Wilby of Seattle, WA; five siblings, Leonard Lucas and his wife, Margaret, of Nashua, NH, Sandra Lucas and her life partner, Judy Donahue, of Shrewsbury, MA, Linda Heinz and her husband, Rick, of Hampstead, NH, Richard Lucas and his wife, Geri, of Methuen, MA and James Lucas and his wife, Debi, of Chelmsford, MA; many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers in law.

SERVICES: A memorial service is Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Grace Capital Church, 542 Pembroke St., Pembroke, NH.
