Robert J. Menafra

He was born February 7, 1951 in Rockville Centre, NY the son of the Joseph P. Menafra, Jr. and Patricia (Gramley) Menafra.

Robert retired in 2007 from Manchester Memorial High School where he worked as a physics teacher for 13 years.

He was an avid musician who frequently played his own compositions on acoustic guitar in the New London, NH area. He was also an accomplished carpenter.

He leaves his wife of 24 years, Donna L. (St. Hilaire) Menafra of Manchester; two children, Emily G. Menafra and Joseph A. Menafra, both of Manchester; his mother, Patricia Menafra of East Northport, NY; three siblings, Sue Menafra of East Northport, NY, Michael Menafra of East Meredith, NY, and Caroline Menafra-Mule of Centerport, NY; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, March 23, 2013 in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 9 St. Francis Way, Litchfield, NH

Burial will be private.
