Robert A. Menard

Robert Agenor Menard, 91, of Manchester and formerly of Fremont, died August 23, 2022 after a lengthy illness.

Born in Ayers Cliff, Quebec, Canada on September 11, 1930, he was the son of Ovide and Leone (Phaneuf) Menard. 

Prior to retirement, he had been a mill worker for many years, a handy man for a trucking co., and a handy man for a law firm.

He enjoyed sports – New England Patriots, Boston Red Soxs, Boston Bruins and the Montréal Canadiens.

He was predeceased by his wife, Cecile (Pinard) Menard in 2009.

Family members include his sons, Robert Y. Menard and wife Lynda of Fremont, NH; Mario J. Menard and wife Mary of Bristol, NH; his grandchildren, Natalie, Amanda, Andrew, Mitchell and Nicole; his great-grandchildren, Arianna , Cadence , Emmett , Wyatt and Levi, and Zoey; and his one remaining brother, Gilles Menard of Montréal, Canada; several nephews, nieces and cousins.

Per his wishes, funeral services and interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery will be private at the family’s convenience.
