Robert O. Moore Sr., 63, of Manchester died February 12, 2004 at Laurel Center-Genesis Eldercare Network in Bedford after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester on June 1, 1940 he was the son of John and Josephine (Ciechon) Moore. He lived in Manchester most of his life.
He worked for the City of Manchester Highway Department for 24 years and as a prep cook at St. Anselm College for two years.
Mr. Moore was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Sweeney Post #2, the Fraternal Order of Eagles #290 and the Queen City Pool League. He enjoyed fly-fishing.
The family includes his wife of 36 years, Sandra R. (Hewitt) Moore of Manchester; a son, Robert O. Moore Jr. of Manchester; four step children, Donna Caron and Deborah Caron both of Manchester, Gerald Spelman of Tampa, FL and Clay Spelman of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; a brother, Jack Moore of Manchester; a sister, Arlene Moore and nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were Monday February 16, 2004 in Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester.
