Robert P. Phaneuf

He was born in Manchester on September 10, 1957 to Joseph and Rita (Nault) Phaneuf. He lived in Manchester many years before moving to Litchfield in 1995.

Bob was self employed working as an automobile technician and at various other construction related fields for many years. He enjoyed playing cards, cooking, spending time with his pets and caring for his home.

He was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Litchfield.

The family includes his wife of 28 years, Suzanne R. (Laurendeau) (McLaughlin) Phaneuf of Litchfield; a step son, Timothy McLaughlin of Naples, FL; two step grandchildren, Mayson McLaughlin and Tyler McLaughlin; his mother, Rita (Nault) Phaneuf of Manchester; three siblings, Joseph Phaneuf Jr. and his wife, Holleen, of Portage, PA, Denise Morgan-Coleman and her husband, James, of Manchester and Paul Phaneuf and his wife, Brenda Aliberti, of Concord; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Phaneuf and a sister, Fernande Phaneuf.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, St. Francis Way, Litchfield.
