He was born in Manchester on November 15, 1930 to Ernest and Lilianne (Proulx) Pruneau. He served in the U.S. Navy Reserves and lived in Manchester for most of his life.
Bob worked for ITT Continental Baking for 30 years. While there, he was a union steward with the Teamsters Union. In retirement, he worked for Manchester Security and volunteered at Catholic Medical Center.
He enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the Intervale Country Club. He especially enjoyed time spent with his family.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Georgette D. (Bouchard) Pruneau in 2003.
The family includes three children, Donna P. Fritz and her husband, Paul, of Alton Bay, Colette C. Deusinger and her husband, Gary, of Indialantic, FL and Kevin L.J. Pruneau of Manchester; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Prive, Eric Prive and Daniel Deusinger; two great grandchildren, Mason Prive and Colin Prive.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Parish of the Transfiguration, corner of Kelley and Youville streets, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
