Robert M. Roby

He was born in Laconia on December 25, 1936, the son of William E. Roby and Bernadette A. (Lebrecque) Thomas. He was educated in the Manchester parochial school system. He served in the US Army.

Robert had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed telling stories and spending time with his family and friends.

He was predeceased by one son, Jay Roby.

Members of his family include two daughters, Lynn (Roby) Farina of Bedford, NH, and Joy Roby of Maine; one son, Jeff Roby of Maine; one step-daughter, Mary of Nashua; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard Roby of Arroyo Grande, CA; nephews and nieces.

A memorial Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday July 11, 2008 in Sacred Heart Church, 223 South Main St., Manchester. Urn burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford.
