Robert A. Samson

Robert A Samson, 91, died Saturday December16, 2023 at Villa Crest nursing and retirement center in Manchester, NH. He was born on June 19, 1932 in Hooksett, NH, the son of Joseph and Bernadette.

He was the husband of Doris Samson. They were married on May 25. 1957 in Manchester, NH.

Served in the US Army 3^rd Infantry Division as a machine gunner towards the end of the Korean War, receiving his honorable discharge in October 1960. Robert continued his education working in the shoe industry before going to work for the Manchester VA Medical Center. There he spent the rest of his career working up to Assistant Director of Building Services until his retirement. Those who knew him best called him Sam.

Robert enjoyed his time outside in the sun and loved all things gardening around the house.

Robert is survived by his wife Doris and their three sons; Michael, Kevin, and David.

A committal service will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 10 am in the mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
