Robert A. Sandstrom

Robert A. Sandstrom, 77, of 196 N. River Rd., Manchester, died at his home January 18, 2003, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Virginia, MN, October 15, 1925, he was a son of Ole and Helen (Louma) Sandstrom. He had been a Manchester resident the past 40 years.

Mr. Sandstrom retired from the US Navy in 1962 after serving 20 years. He served during World War II and the Korean Conflict.

He later worked in automotive repairs for several years.

Family members include 2 sons, Kenneth E. Sandstrom of Candia, and Gary D. Sandstrom of Manchester; a granddaughter, Kelly Sandstrom.

After cremation, urn burial was in the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
