Robert H. Savoie

Robert H. Savoie, 93, of Manchester, died March 25, 2018 at Catholic Medical Center after a brief illness.

He was born in Manchester on February 21, 1925 to Joseph and Euphemie (Arel) Savoie. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

He worked at several Manchester shoe manufacturers and retired from Felton Brush Company. He also volunteered at Catholic Medical Center for 20 years.

Robert enjoyed working at home in his seasonal gardens and traveling on family vacations. He was also a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Manchester. He was a kind man who will be remembered for his welcoming smile.

He was predeceased by a sister, Simonne Vallieres.

The family includes his wife of 61 years Doris (Montcalm) Savoie of Manchester; two children, Diane G. Savoie of Manchester and Normand Savoie and his husband, William Adams III, of Mt. Vernon, NY; and a nephew, Adrien Vallieres.

A funeral ceremony was held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
