Robert J. Scarlett

Robert J. Scarlett, age 82, a US Army Veteran, of Manchester, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Catholic Medical Center following a brief illness. For 27 years he was the beloved husband of Irene (Marchand) Scarlett.

He was born July 29, 1943 in Manchester, NH to the late Edward & Lillian (Levesque) Scarlett.

In his early years he managed the former Allegros and IGA supermarkets. Prior to his retirement in 2003, he worked BAE in Nashua for nearly 20 years.

Robert enjoyed gardening, walking, and tinkering with various items. Above all, he enjoyed time with his family and grandchildren.

Besides his wife, Irene, he is survived by two daughters and their families, Jennifer Kaminski, her husband, Scott, and their children Ashley and Justin Kaminski; Cheryl Kelley, her husband, Dan, and their children, Kyle and Caitlin Kelley; stepson Eric Holton and his children, Samantha Nerdahl and her husband Derik, Morgan Colby and her husband Josh; stepdaughter Kellie Morse, her husband Dave, and her children Sarah, Meghan and Dale Stratton; also four great-grandchildren. He is survived by his sister, Susan Brodeur and her husband Paul.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda (Bailey) Scarlett who passed in October 1997. He also was predeceased by his two brothers Donald E Scarlett & Leon J Scarlett.

SERVICES – A Time of Visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 from 4:00 until 7:00 pm at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm Street, Manchester, NH 03104. A Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, 265 S. Main St., Manchester, on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester, NH.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Church.
