Robert "Bob" G. Simoneau, 85, of Franklin, NH, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on June 18, 2026.
Born in Manchester, NH on May 19, 1941, Robert was the son of the late Roger & Gertrude (Terrel) Simoneau.
He is one of nine brothers, Rosaire Simoneau, (predeceased) Roger Simoneau Jr., (predeceased) Donald Simoneau, Norman Simoneau, Leo Blouin, (predeceased) Roland Simoneau, Raymond Simoneau, Michael Terrel and three step-sisters, Debbie Moore, Jeanne Sylvain ans (predeceased) Mary Smith.
Bob loved spending time with his family. His greatest joys in life were his family and sports. He enjoyed playing in a softball league for many years and later found great joy cheering on his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren at their sporting events and activities. He was an avid Red Sox and New England Patriots fan and rarely missed a chance to watch a game. Among his favorite past times were playing cribbage, watching Joel Osteen on a Sunday morning, enjoying westerns and listening to music - especially Elvis.
Bob proudly called the beautiful state of New Hampshire home for most of his life. He lived in Pembroke for many years before recently moving to Franklin.
Together with his late wife, Anna, Bob owned and operated a food truck business for many years. Prior to his retirement, he was employed with Dunkin' Donuts.
Bob was predeceased by his loving wife Anna (Gagnon) Simoneau and his son, Brian Simoneau.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his sons, Keith Simoneau and his wife, Cheryl, and Rodney Simoneau and his wife, Paula; his daughter, Kristine Hutchins; and a large cherished family of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him tremendous pride and joy.
