Robert James Tessier

He was born in Chelsea MA, on February 3, 1953, to Roland and Marie (Alexander) Tessier.

Bob grew up in Somerville MA. and surrounding areas. He was educated in the local school system until he entered the US Air Force. He worked for the Veteran's Administration Medical Center and retired from Federal Service after 37 years.

Bob enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was kind, genuine, thoughtful, loving and selfless man. He was also a great chef and masterful cribbage player.

Members of his family include, his son, Robert L. Tessier; two daughters, Sarah A. Tessier and her husband Ismail Lukyamuzi of Manchester; Michele M. Gilbault and her husband Gregory of Johnston RI; four grandchildren, Nevaeh, Antonio, Samantha, and Isabella; two brothers, John Tessier and his wife Amelia of Billerica, MA; Donald Tessier of Manchester, NH; a sister, Karen Reed and her husband Arthur of Medford MA; and his mother, Marie Patterson of Charlestown MA. as well as many other family members. He was predeceased by his former wife Carolyn M. Tessier in 2004.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 in St. Pius X Church, 575 Candia Rd. Burial with Military Honors will take place in St. Augustine Cemetery, South Beech St., Manchester, NH.
