Robert W. Dostie, Sr.

Robert W. Dostie, Sr., 79, of Bedford, died peacefully September 28, 2018 at Bedford Hills Nursing & Rehabilitation Center surrounded by his loving family and wonderful caretakers.
Born in Goffstown, NH on January 4, 1939, he was the son of Wilfred and Gertrude (Adams) Dostie. He attended West High School and served in the National Guard Reserves. He worked for Anchor Electric for over 30 years before retiring in 2004.
Robert enjoyed golfing, bowling and making people laugh. Above all, he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 58 years, Constance D. (Harrington) Dostie.
Family includes four children, David William Dostie and wife Diane of Allenstown, Kathleen Ann Longfellow and husband William of Phoenix, AZ, Thomas Robert Dostie of Manassas, VA, and Robert William Dostie, Jr. of Manchester; numerous grand children, and great grandchildren; two sisters; and three brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, October 5, 2018 at St. Joseph Cathedral, 145 Lowell St., Manchester. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Tribute Program, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
