Robert J. Wilcott

Robert J. Wilcott Sr., 85, of Manchester died February 13, 2002 at Elliot Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Concord on January 11, 1917, he was the son of Joseph and Rose (Mercier) Wilcott.

Mr. Wilcott worked as a carpenter for several area construction companies for many years. He was a communicant of St. Anthony Church and was a life member of the Alpine Club.

He was predeceased by his wife, Lillian (Montminy) Wilcott on December 6, 2001 and by a grandson, Nicholas Wilcott in 1989.

The family includes four sons, Robert J. Wilcott Jr., Roger R. Wilcott, Wilfred G. Wilcott and Richard Wilcott all of Manchester; a daughter, Patricia Guyette of Mary Esther, FL; 14 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; a sister, Florence Ash of California; nieces and nephews.

Calling hours were Friday, 2/15/02 in Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday, 2/16/02 in St. Anthony Church. Burial will be in the spring in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Hooksett.
