Robert L. Young

Robert L. Young, 44, of Manchester, died November 13, 2006, at the Elliot Hospital after a year long battle with cancer.

He was born in Manchester, May 2, 1962, and was the son of Roland and June (Joseph) Young. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

He worked as a roofer and owned and operated R.L. Young Roofing Co.

He loved fishing, the outdoors, and especially was devoted to his family.

Family members include his wife, Cathleen (Lally) Young of Manchester; a daughter, Rachel E. Young of Manchester; two brothers, Daniel L. Young and William "Bud" Turcotte, both of Manchester; two sisters, Melynda A. Nassar of Hooksett and Stephanie L. Dusombre of Londonderry; his maternal grandmother Rachel Petchell of Hooksett; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Friday November 17, 2006 at St. Catherine Church, Webster St. Burial was private.
