Roberta J. (Bowman) Demers, 50, of Manchester died September 18, 2002 at her residence after a sudden illness.
Born in Manchester on December 9, 1951, she was the daughter of J. Robert and Joan (Pinciaro) Bowman of Hooksett. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
She was a graduate of Central High School in 1970 and Notre Dame College in 1974.
Mrs. Demers was an art teacher at Highland Goffs Falls School in Manchester for many years. She was inducted as a member of the Phi Delta Kappa Fraternity in 1998.
Besides her parents the family includes her husband of 29 years, Richard J. Demers of Manchester; two sons, Michael B. Demers and Jeffrey B. Demers both of Manchester; two sisters, Susan DiCroce of Manchester and Lisa Bowman of Bow; aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday September 21, 2002 in St. Pius X Church, corner of Candia Rd. and Sarto St., Manchester. The burial was private and was in Pine Grove Cemetery.
