Rod L. Cloutier, 76, of Manchester, died May 8, 2006, at an area health care facility, after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Bee Be, Quebec, September 22, 1929, and was the son of Deneri and Marie-Ange (Rodrigue) Cloutier. He grew up in Quebec and had been a Manchester area resident for many years.
Mr. Cloutier worked for the NH State Prison Maintenance Department for many years.
Family members include his wife of 22 years, Elizabeth (Beaudry) Cloutier of Manchester; a son, Michel Cloutier of Quebec; two daughters, Suzanne Cloutier of Hull, Quebec, and Micheline Roy-Cloutier of Cantley, Quebec; a step daughter, Susan Marie Nason of Weare, NH; a step son, Jeffrey J. Richard of Derry, NH; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; two sisters, Marguerite Beaulieu of Manchester, and Elda Doucet of Magog, Quebec; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a grandson.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Friday May 12, 2006 at St. Catherine Church, Webster St., Manchester. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
