Rodney A. Mudgett, 59, of Concord died suddenly on Sunday April 30, 2023 at his home.

Born October 4, 1963 in Peterborough, NH, he was the son of George & Marion (Hill) Mudgett. He grew up in Milford and attended local schools. Rodney served in the U.S. Army Airborne division. He was a medic and a paratrooper.

Rodney was a self-taught Master collision tech. He went on to own and operate his own business, Rod's Autobody. Cars were a passion of his. He enjoyed going to antique car shows. Rod also loved playing pool. He was a member of the Queen City Pool League and was the 2014 state champion. He was inducted into the hall of fame. He will be missed by all who loved him.

Rod is survived by his children Kristi Gamache & her husband Scott of Elberta, AL, Todd Mudgett & his wife Amanda of Boscawen, Heidi Labrie & her husband Jeanyves of Allenstown, and Maryanne Mudgett of Manchester; his partner Cathy Ballou of Concord; his former spouse Christine DeFrancesco of Manchester; his siblings Debbie Daniels of Wilton, Donna Davison of Temple, and George Mudgett & his wife Barbara of Pembroke; 12 grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.

SERVICES: Calling hours for Rodney will be held Friday May 5, 2023 from 4 to 7 pm at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester.  Burial will be private at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org or the American Heart Association at heart.org.
