Roger A. Allard, Sr., of Manchester died September 1, 2025, at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, surrounded by his loving family.
Born March 9, 1935, he was the son of the late Cyrille and Eva (Dionne) Allard. He was a graduate of St. Anthony High School and owned and operated Allard Services, Inc. for 55 years, before retiring in 2015. Although retired, he continued to make daily trips to the office to “check on things”. He was a lifelong resident of the Queen City.
Roger will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great, great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
Roger was predeceased by his daughter, Anne Desrochers, in 2022.
Surviving family includes his beloved wife of 70 years, Irene R. (Huot) Allard of Manchester; two sons, Roger Allard, Jr. and wife Rita, of Manchester and Donald Allard and wife Sonja of Manchester; son-in-law, Leonard Desrochers; eleven grandchildren, Leonard and Glorianna Desrochers, Roger, Jonathan and Crystal Allard, Amanda, Samantha, Stacie, Jeremy, Adam and Joshua Allard; many great and great, great grandchildren; three siblings, Cecile Favreau of Manchester, Maurice Allard of Manchester and Ralph Allard of Manchester; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by both parents and fourteen siblings.
SERVICES: Calling hours are from 2pm to 6pm on Monday, September 8th at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester, NH 03104. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Tuesday, September 9th, at Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Elm St., Manchester, NH 03103. Committal prayers to follow in Mt.Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester, NH 03102.
