Roger L. Beaudin, 76, of Manchester, died suddenly in his sleep at his home on December 7, 2021.
He was born in Manchester on June 23, 1945 to Rene and Irene (Daneault) Beaudin. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Roger graduated from Manchester West High School in 1963. He worked full time at Osram Sylvania in Manchester for 44 years and part time at Rockingham Park Race Track in Salem for 6 years.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, a member of The American Legion Post 2, a lifetime member of The Alpine Club, a long time parishioner, eucharistic minister and active volunteer of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Manchester until its closing, when he then became a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Manchester.
Roger enjoyed riding his bicycle along the Goffstown Rail Trail, summer trips to Hampton Beach and following all the Boston sports teams.
Roger is survived by his wife of 49 years, Janice E. (Routhier) Beaudin of Manchester; a daughter, Kristine A. Beaudin and her husband, Luis A. Pereda Goicochea, of Manchester; brother, Robert Beaudin and his wife, Heidi, of Punta Gorda, FL; brother, Maurice Beaudin and his wife, Pat, of Baldwin, WI; brother-in-law, Henry A. Routhier and his wife, Lynn, of Delray Beach, FL; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Calling hours are Sunday, 12/12 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, 12/13 at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Elm St., Manchester. Committal prayers will follow in the chapel at St. Augustin Cemetery, South Beech Street, Manchester.
As Roger was a devout blood donor since 11/28/95, in lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in his name to the American Red Cross, 425 Reservoir Ave., Manchester, NH 03104.
