Roger A. Beliveau Sr., 74, of 178 Mitchell St., Manchester, died April 18, 2005, at the Elliot Hospital after a sudden illness.
Born in Manchester, November 1, 1930, he was a son of David and Rose Anna (Beliveau) Beliveau. He was a lifelong resident of this city.
Mr. Beliveau worked as plant manager for J.F. McElwain Shoe Co. for 30 years. He retired from Gold Bond after working 10 years as a machine operator.
He was predeceased by his wife, Ellen L (Tarlton) Beliveau in 1989, and by a son, Norman H. Beliveau in 2003.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, playing cribbage and bingo.
Family members include five daughters, Mary Sutherland of Lynn, MA, Nancy Joyce of Candia, Linda Morrison, Betty Hammad, and Sandra Beliveau, all of Manchester; a son, Roger A. Beliveau Jr. of Allenstown; 18 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; three sisters, Simonne Binette of Manchester, Irene Duchesne of Bedford, and Rita Lombardo of Manchester; nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Friday April 22, 2005 at Sacred Heart Church. Committal prayers followed at Mount Calvary Mausoleum.
