Roger E. Bouchard, 81, of Manchester, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. He was born on January 27, 1944 to the late John and Georgia (Goverinos) Bouchard.
Roger was born and raised in Manchester and graduated from Bishop Bradley High School, Class of 1962. He was a parishioner at Blessed Sacrament Parish and was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps as a corporal. He was a proud worker, having held various positions, but was most known as the owner of Foxwood Homes. Roger held many certifications including Graduate Builder, Master Builder, Aging in Placement Specialist, received the Edward J. Roy award, the Home Builder of the Year award in 1990, and was inducted into the Home Builder’s & Remodeler’s Association of New Hampshire’s Hall of Fame in 2009.
Roger enjoyed fishing and volunteer work, having assisted at the Catholic Medical Center’s Emergency Room and helped cook Christmas dinner at the Unitarian Church for about 30 years. He also served on the board for the New Horizon’s Soup Kitchen, Notre Dame College, Big Brothers, Big Sisters, Manchester Boy’s Club, New Hampshire Association for the Blind, New Hampshire Home Builder Association and Nashua Area Home Builder’s Association. Roger was also proud to be a part of the Knights of Columbus, where he was a former Grand Knight and trustee.
Roger is survived by his fiancé: Gertrude “Angel” Cardinal; his two children: Robyn Bouchard and Kristen Page; his fiance's three children: Karl West, Tracey Lessard, Jeffrey West; his sister: Jo-Ann Sullivan; his brother: Robert “Bobby” Bouchard and his wife Lynn; his granddaughter: Jennifer Bouchard; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his two brothers: Ronald and Richard Bouchard.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St. in Manchester from 5pm – 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 14 Elm St. in Manchester at 10am. Burial will take place on Thursday at the NH State Veteran’s Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway in Boscawen at 12pm.
