Roger L. Bourque, 79, of Manchester died April 11, 2003 at Catholic Medical Center after a long illness.
Born in Manchester on December 13, 1923, he was the son of Arsene and Josephine (Martineau) Bourque. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Mr. Bourque worked for many years for the town of Goffstown. He was a former board member of the West Side Senior Center in Manchester.
He was self-taught in many home repairs and had become proficient with the use of home computers.
He was married to Pauline L. (Tremblay) Bourque who died in January of this year. He and his wife had traveled extensively.
The family includes a son, Richard R. Bourque of Manchester; a daughter, Suzanne Boulter of Manchester; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three sisters, Rita Collins, Laurette Major and Theresa Gagnon all of Manchester; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday April 14, 2003 in Parish of the Transfiguration at St. John the Baptist Church, corner of Kelley and Youville streets, Manchester. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
