Roger E. Brown

Roger E. Brown, 80, of Bedford, NH died November 9, 2004 at the Elliot Hospital after a period of declining health.

He was born in Dexter, ME on March 15, 1924, the son of Arthur and Mabel (Johnson) Brown. He served in the US Army and fought in the European Theatre during WWII.

Prior to retirement, he had been a portrait photographer and manager for Ramark-Varden Studios in Albany, NY.

His wife Lillian (Conover) Brown died in May of this year.

Members of his family include a son, Gregory Brown of Manchester; a daughter, Heather Varkarotas of Las Vegas;

He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Stephanie, Matthew, Allyssa, Alexandra, Christopher, and Nicholas; a sister-in-law, Adele Brown.

A wake in Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St, will be Friday from 10:30am to 11am. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11am. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
