ROGER H. CARON

Roger Henri Caron, 65, of Goffstown, died May 10, 2008 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home after a 2-year struggle with Alzheimer's.

He was born in Manchester, on May 26,1942, and was the son of Henri and Gertrude (Gagnon) Caron.

He received his early education in Manchester and later was a graduate from the Vocational Technical school in Berlin as a welder. He lived in Manchester all of his life.

IN HIS LIFE: Mr. Caron worked for many years at Kalwall Inc. in Manchester. He loved to take apart and fix radios and later televisions. He had a love for Chinese food and could never get enough. He loved to eat and was a big man until he became sick. His most enjoyable experience was last August he took a ride in his nephew's skydiving plane and this was the last thing his remembered before his memory failed him.

Family members include 2 sisters; Anita and her husband Paul Grignon, Laurette Binette and her husband Raymond, all of Goffstown; 2 stepsons, David Aird, of Raymond, Tony Aird, of Manchester, 2 nephews, Keith Murray, Eric Murray; 2 grandnephews, Dillan and Travis Murray; 2 step nephews.

Roger was predeceased by his wife Helen Spencer Caron, March 27, 2007.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday May 17, 2008 at St. Lawrence Church, Mast Rd., Goffstown.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Hillsborough County Nursing Home at 400 Mast Rd. Goffstown, NH 03045.
