Roger E. Lambert

Roger E. Lambert, 70, of Goffstown, passed away on May 22, 2022, at Courville of Manchester, after a period of declining health.

Born in Goffstown on December 29, 1951, he was the son of the late Robert J. and Lorraine H. (Soucy) Lambert.  He was a graduate of Goffstown High School.  Roger worked as an equipment operator for St. Anselm College for 29 years before retiring in 2019. He also served on the Specials Unit of the Goffstown Police Department for 20 years and was a long time member of the Goffstown Police Association.

Roger loved spending time on the water, particularly in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. In his early retirement he enjoyed traveling with his wife Sue and always looked forward to Tuesday afternoons with his longtime friend Ron Dupuis. He was skilled in several trades and was often found helping with carpentry projects or putting around the yard completing projects with his tractor. He was a strong and fervent man who made his family his priority. His face would light up watching his grandchildren do the things they love. Above all else, he will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, Pepere, brother, uncle and friend.

Surviving family members include his loving wife of 36 years, Susan M. Lambert of Goffstown; two daughters, Katelyn B. Neville and husband Jacob of New Boston, and Stephanie Chouinard and husband Bryan of Weare; three grandchildren, Evelyn M. Neville and Jameson E. Neville of New Boston, and Corbin J. Chouinard of Weare; Five Brothers, Paul, Albert and his wife Linda, David and his wife Tammy, Francis and Marc Lambert; three sisters, Claire Normand and her husband Eugene, Therese Fournier and her husband Brian, and Mary Lambert; and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by both parents; one brother, George Lambert; one sister, Liane Wind; and one sister in law Louise Lambert.
