Roger F. Goulet

He was born in Stornoway, Quebec on March 19, 1938, the son of Joseph and Lucienne (Gagnon) Goulet. He attended school in Canada and moved with his wife to Manchester in 1965. Roger worked for many years as an assembler with Kalwall Industry, retiring in 2004.

He enjoyed spending time at the beach with family and friends, vacationing in New Jersey, listening to music, watching old French tv, and scratch tickets. Roger was very quiet and reserved. Over all he will be remembered as a very kind man, and a loving husband.

The family includes his wife of 55 years, Helene A. (Bouffard) Goulet of Manchester; three sisters, Yolande Goulet and husband Nelson, Denise Goulet, and Micheline Goulet and husband Jean Guy; three brothers, Gaetan Goulet and wife Pauline, Bertrand Goulet and wife Denise, and Richard Goulet and wife Paule; sisters and brothers-in-law, Therese Bouffard and husband Raymond, Marie Bouffard and husband Robert, Aurore Bouffard and husband Urbain, Germaine Bouffard and husband Bernadin, Pauline Bouffard and husband Gaetan, Alphonse Bouffard and wife Ghislaine, Francois Bouffard and wife Claudette, Jean Bouffard and wife Martine, Bernadette Bouffard and husband Michel, Pierre Bouffard and wife Chantal; two brothers-in-law, Bernard, and Francois; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters-in-law, Louise and Louisette Bouffard; and a brother-in-law, Renaud.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, January 4, 2016 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Belmont St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed in the Mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
